This cheese is produced from 100% organic Jersey milk from Dutch Jersey cows. The Jersey cheese is characterized by a soft creamy taste and is full of vitamins. The milk from Jersey cows has a different composition of fat and protein than milk from a traditional Holstein cow. The fat percentage and protein content is much higher, so the cheese is creamier and richer in taste. In addition Jersey milk is also naturally enriched with vitamins, minerals (twice as much), and carotene. So It all begins with healthy and nutritious grass in the beautiful surroundings of Katwoude, and it results in this exceptionally rich cheese with a distinctive taste.
